Fairhaven Project

The Fairhaven Project is a regional reconnaissance mapping and sampling program that seeks to tie together the historic Placer operations in the area to identity prospective areas for continued exploration efforts. Soil sampling methodologies were adapted to account for the presence of permafrost. Field crews worked at 4 distinct, but proximally located, historically active placer gold mining areas. Geologic mapping and soil sampling was conducted along with prospect examinations
