The Chickaloon Coal Project is located immediately adjacent to the community of Chickaloon. Engagement efforts consisted of connecting with local residents to discuss proposed exploration efforts and anticipated impacts (sound and increased traffic), hiring and contracting local individuals and contractors for various positions and services. In addition, monthly project updates were provided to the two closest communities at their regularly scheduled Community Council meetings.
